EchoNet: Privacy Policy & End-User License Agreement

PART 1: PRIVACY POLICY

EchoNet is engineered as a transparent conduit for secure networking. Our primary directive is the facilitation of encrypted tunnels without the secondary harvesting of user data.

The Zero-Knowledge Infrastructure

The core functionality of EchoNet is to establish a Virtual Private Network (VPN) connection.

Local Processing: All cryptographic handshakes and tunneling protocols are executed locally on your device hardware.

No Logging Policy: We do not track, record, or store any information regarding your browsing history, destination IPs, data content, or DNS queries.

Session Isolation: We do not log your source IP address or the timestamps of your connections. Your digital footprint exists only within the active memory of your device during a session and is never archived on our infrastructure.

Third-Party Integration and Technical Telemetry

To optimize network routing and maintain app performance, we interface with limited third-party platforms. These entities interact only with technical metadata.

Firebase (Google): Utilized for monitoring application stability. If a connection drop or software crash occurs, a technical stack trace is generated to assist our engineers.

Analytics and Attribution (e.g., AppsFlyer, Adjust): These services analyze how users discover EchoNet (marketing attribution). They may utilize technical identifiers like your device’s Advertising ID (GAID/IDFA) to measure campaign effectiveness.

Security Note: These third parties are contractually restricted from accessing your encrypted traffic or correlating technical IDs with your real-world identity.

Legal Grounds for Data Processing

EchoNet processes data based on the following legal pillars:

Contractual Necessity: Processing technical connection data is fundamental to delivering the secure network service you have requested.

Legitimate Interests: We maintain a legitimate interest in using pseudonymized technical telemetry to safeguard our network against abuse and to improve global server performance.

Disclosure of User Rights

We provide the following rights to all users globally, ensuring full control over their digital presence:

Right to Know About Sharing: You have the right to be informed of exactly what data is shared. EchoNet shares only non-identifiable technical IDs with the infrastructure partners listed in Section 2.

Right to Know About Sales: You have the explicit right to know if your data is being monetized. EchoNet does not sell, trade, or rent your personal data to any third party.

Right of Access: You may request a formal report of the data we hold regarding your interaction with the app. Since we do not collect personal identifiers, such reports are typically limited to technical logs or support tickets.

Right to Rectification: You have the right to request the correction of any inaccurate or incomplete data we may possess.

Right to Deletion: You may request the absolute erasure of your data. For the app itself, removing EchoNet from your device will purge all local configurations and history.

Right to Lodge a Complaint: You are entitled to contact a regulatory authority or data protection supervisor in your jurisdiction if you believe our data handling practices violate legal standards.

Data Retention and Circumstances

Active Traffic Data: This data is volatile and is retained only for the duration of your active VPN session. It is purged from the device’s temporary memory immediately upon disconnection.

Anonymized Technical Data: Data collected for analytics is retained for the minimum period necessary for aggregate trend analysis (typically 12 to 24 months) before it is permanently anonymized or deleted.

Support Data: If you contact us for troubleshooting, your correspondence is retained only until your request is resolved.

Opt-Out Procedures

You have the power to restrict even technical data sharing:

Advertising Opt-Out: You can choose "Opt out of Ads Personalization" on Android or "Limit Ad Tracking" on iOS to prevent attribution platforms from identifying your device.

Zero-Sharing Mode: You can utilize EchoNet without granting notification or optional analytics permissions, though this may limit your ability to receive network status updates.

Governance and Data Protection Officer (DPO)

We have appointed a Data Protection Officer to ensure EchoNet adheres to the highest standards of privacy law.

DPO Name: Silas Vencel

Contact Email: buzznectarbee@gmail.com

PART 2: END-USER LICENSE AGREEMENT (EULA)

Grant of License

EchoNet grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-sublicensable license to use the Application for personal, non-commercial security purposes on a device you own or control.

Prohibited Network Activity

By utilizing this license, you agree not to use EchoNet for:

Distributing malware, participating in DDoS attacks, or hacking.

Violating local or international copyright laws.

Engaging in any activity that compromises the integrity of the EchoNet network or other users' privacy.

Intellectual Property Ownership

EchoNet, including all code, UI/UX designs, and proprietary encryption implementations, is the sole property of the developer. This license does not grant you any ownership rights.

Disclaimer of Warranty

EchoNet is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE." While we strive for 100% uptime and total security, we do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or that it can prevent all possible cyber threats. Your use of the service is at your own risk.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, EchoNet and its affiliates shall not be held liable for any data loss, service interruptions, or legal consequences resulting from your use of the VPN. We specifically disclaim liability for the actions of users on our network.

Agreement Termination

This agreement is effective until terminated by either party. You may terminate it by deleting the app. We may terminate your license immediately if you are found to be in violation of the Prohibited Network Activity clauses.
